Dealing with anger and depression

As people we have been blessed with things such as emotions.We have emotions that are positive.  But we also have negative emotions.In this article, let us take a closer look at some emotions that can become negative.

Why we need to take a look at these two is because they are emotions that could need professional help.We all have gone through joys.We all can go through emotions like sadness.  We also at times experience anger as well.  But there are times that emotions can get the best of us.  This is speaking from experience being a family therapist San Diego.

First lets have a look at anger.  This is a very volatile emotion.  Everybody experiences this emotion.But for some people it sometimes gets the best of them.  When I say get the best of them I mean they get out of control.  They sometimes take that anger and express it with violence.That is why it is so dangerous.  I have seen it go too far too many times doing anger management counseling.That is the moment when it must be handled professionally.Because it can touch and effect and hurt other people.

The other emotion we may experience is depression.  Doing depression counselor has allowed me to see how this emotion can be dangerous as well.Most of the times this emotion won’t hurt people in a direct way.  But this emotion can cause somebody to hurt themselves.There are many reasons for it.A chemical imbalance can be it’s cause on a few occassions.Those are the times when medicine will be the only form of treatment.  Or it can be an event that causes the depression.Doesn’t matter, when a person goes through it, they probably need help.

As you can plainly tell these emotions need to be kept in check.Doesn’t matter if it is anger or depression, both of those emotions can cause serious problems.Either to people who are close to you or even yourself.So if you can tell someone may be going through these emotions, they could be in need of some counseling.  It is best for everyone.
