This is just a few crazy ideas that may or may not happen in the future when it comes to having a holiday home. The real question is do these wacky homes need holiday home insurance?

Deep Sea Homes

It has been done many times before so it can be done, the record is actually 63 days. You could easily fit your two week family vacation into this time so is this something that could actually happen in the future? A nice holiday like this could really relax someone. Sat in the middle of a see through house staring at the ocean sounds like a nice way to relax however it is not very likely to happen as the costs are going to be massive.

Moonraker for real

With the recent bomb placed on the moon to see if there is in fact anyway we could build a station on there as a half way point from there to Mars it could well be possible that few people could be spending months if not years sat on the moon monitoring probes, the real question is how much is the second homes insurance likely to be. Very expensive is the answer to that.

Underground

Underground is always another option out there to take. This one is easily the one that really could happen simply because there are already underground caves that exist so in theory you could build yourself a nice home there to spend the summer vacation in. The bat cave and this idea seems to be very similar?

For normal people a nice holiday home in France could be a better idea so it could be worth buying a house out there, make sure you do not forget your French property insurance.
